BONDZ™ BU 098

Bondz™ BU098 is a highly modified, crystallised PET resin with medium viscosity.
The low ability to crystallize, combined with a low softening point, makes Bondz™ BU 098 suitable to be used as outside sealing layer in co-extruded mono-material for APET packaging trays and multilayer blown-film extrusion for lidding film.

Bondz™ BU 098 is the perfect solution for brand owners looking to switch to a fully recyclable APET mono-material food packaging tray. By replacing the usual PE layer with this special polyester Bondz™ BU 098 , the need for a multilayer in the bottom web is eliminated.

Blown film produced with Bondz™ BU 098 for lidding films will feature excellent heat-seal bonds as required in form-fill-seal (FFS) applications. Sealing temperature range from 95ºC to 200ºC. This product switches the sealing capability to the lidding film, eliminating the need for the usual PE layer in the bottom web.

Whether using  Bondz™ BU 098 in the bottom film or lidding film, this solution decreases the packaging weight and cost, as well as allowing for a fully recyclable bottom web in FFS applications, providing packaging that will meet consumer sustainability concerns.

BONDZ™ HF 048

Bondz™ HF 048 is a copolyester specifically designed for sealing layers in APET coextruded films. This product provides a bonding solution to consistently deliver excellent melt strength and exceptional heat-sealing performance.

Product is formulated to provide and sustain the adhesion level crucial to the packaging integrity through the different processes of manufacturing, from coextrusion to thermoforming, securing full protection of the final product.

Product may be used as a primary or secondary packaging material for thermoformed trays, blister applications, and form-fill-seal applications up to 75ºC.

BONDZ™ MM 510

Selenis Bondz™ MM 510 is the perfect solution for brand owners looking to switch to a fully recyclable APET monomaterial food packaging tray with enhanced sealing capabilities. By replacing the usual PE layer with this special amorphous polyester Bondz™ MM 510, the need for a multilayer in the bottom web is eliminated.

Films extruded with Selenis Bondz™ MM 510 in the external layer, for the production of bottom web trays, are compatible with universal lidding films and offer exceptional clarity. These films are suitable for a wide range of food applications, in particular those that require resistance to oil and fatty content.

BONDZ™ BO 035

Bondz™ BO 035 is a copolyester specifically designed for sealing layers in BOPET films. Product provides strong bonding   to consistently deliver excellent melt strength and exceptional heat-sealing performance.

Product is formulated to provide and sustain the adhesion level crucial to the packaging integrity through the different processes of manufacturing, securing full protection of the final product.

A solution that greatly improves converting steps in laminating, metalizing and printing.

Bondz™ BO 035 is a crystallised copolyester resin that is easy to process even on single-screw extruders. Must be dried at the same temperatures as crystalline polyesters.
